Dimensional letters are cut from solid material and mounted to the wall — no lighting, no electrical, no permit in most interior applications. They read through depth and shadow instead of glow. If channel letters are the lit sign on the outside of your building, these are the sign in your lobby, above your reception desk, on your conference room wall, or on an exterior facade where illumination isn't wanted or allowed.

We cut ours on our own CNC router in Englewood. That matters mostly for turnaround and for odd requests — a shape nobody stocks, a one-off logo, a size between the standard options.

Materials, and what each one is actually for

Acrylic is the everyday choice. Cut clean, available in any color, and inexpensive enough to do a full logo wall without a conversation about budget. Painted or solid-color through the sheet, so an edge chip doesn't show a different color underneath.

Brushed aluminum and metal-faced letters are what you use when the sign needs to read as permanent and expensive. Law firms, medical suites, corporate lobbies. Costs more and looks it.

PVC is the budget interior option and takes paint well. Good for large letters where weight matters.

HDU is what we use for carved and routed work with dimension and texture rather than flat faces — closer to a traditional carved sign than a modern letter set.

How they mount

Flush-mounted letters sit directly against the wall. Stud-mounted letters stand off it on hidden pins, which throws a shadow behind the letter and makes the whole thing look considerably more expensive for very little extra cost. On a well-lit wall, stud mounting is the single best value decision available on this page.

Letters on a backer panel go up as one piece, which is the right answer on a busy wall, on brick, or anywhere you need the sign to survive being taken down and moved.

We supply a mounting template and pattern with every set, so an installer or a handy tenant can put them up straight. We'll install them too.

Logos

Your logo can be cut as a single piece or as separate elements in different materials and colors. Send us vector artwork if you have it. If all you have is a JPG or a business card, we'll redraw it — that's design time, so tell us early rather than at the quote stage.

Flat cut acrylic letters start at $45. Brushed metal from $85. Complete lobby and reception signs from $450. Priced per letter and by size, so a short word costs what a short word should.
