Window Graphics & Frosted Vinyl

Your storefront glass is the sign you already own and probably aren't using. Hours on the door, your name across the window, a phone number someone can read from the sidewalk — it costs a fraction of anything mounted to the building and it's usually the first thing a customer looks for.

Cut vinyl lettering

The workhorse. Your name, hours, phone number, website, license or permit numbers, "open" and "closed" — cut on our plotter and applied to the glass. Sharp edges, solid color, and it lasts years.

Almost every business needs this and a surprising number don't have it. If someone walks up to your door outside business hours, the glass is the only thing talking to them.

Frosted and etched film

Privacy without losing light. Conference rooms, medical offices, bathroom windows, glass partitions in open-plan spaces, and the lower half of a storefront where you want daylight but not people looking in at the queue.

It looks like acid-etched glass and costs a tiny fraction of it, and it comes off later, which etched glass emphatically does not. Frosted film can also be cut — your logo left clear inside a frosted panel, or a frosted logo on clear glass. That's a lobby detail that reads as expensive and isn't. From $22 per square foot.

Safety markings on glass

Worth raising because it's frequently required and rarely planned for. Large glass panels and full-height doors often need visible markings so people don't walk into them, and building codes and landlords have opinions about it. A frosted band at eye height solves it and can carry your logo instead of looking like a warning stripe.

Full-coverage and perforated window film

Printed graphics covering the whole window. Perforated material — often called one-way vision — is printed with tiny holes so it reads as a solid image from outside while people inside can still see out and daylight still gets in. It's what you see on bus and storefront wraps.

Solid printed film is the choice when you don't need to see out: a back-of-house window, a vacant unit being marketed, a seasonal takeover. From $30 per square foot.

Which side of the glass

Worth deciding before we cut. Applied outside, a graphic reads correctly to the street but takes weather, cleaning and the occasional scrape. Applied inside, it's protected and lasts considerably longer, but the artwork prints reversed and colors read slightly differently through glass. For most storefronts we recommend inside application and design for it.

Coming off again

Vinyl on glass removes cleanly with heat and patience — far more forgiving than anything on a painted wall. Seasonal graphics, sale messaging and event takeovers are all reasonable, and if you're a tenant, glass is the safest surface in the building to brand.
